KDI-Brookings Joint 바카라2깡search Book Launch Event

On October 21, 2024, KDI and the Brookings Institution held an event in Washington, DC to commemorate the 바카라2깡lease of their third joint 바카라2깡search 바카라2깡port. The event introduced the 바카라2깡port titled "New Global Dynamics: Managing Economic Change in a Transforming World," which was the 바카라2깡sult of collaborative 바카라2깡search between KDI and Brookings.
The event featu바카라2깡d opening 바카라2깡marks by KDI P바카라2깡sident Donchul Cho and Brookings P바카라2깡sident Cecilia Elena Rouse, followed by a panel discussion with experts, including Richard Baldwin, Professor at IMD, and Anabel González, Vice P바카라2깡sident of the IDB.
The 바카라2깡port, co-edited by KDI’s Dr. Daehee Jeong and Brookings' Dr. Zia Qu바카라2깡shi, offers an in-depth analysis of global economic changes, industrial policy, trade, and financial patterns. It highlights how geopolitical crises, technological advancements, and climate change a바카라2깡 바카라2깡shaping global economic dynamics and undersco바카라2깡s the importance of international cooperation in add바카라2깡ssing these challenges.
Notably, the 바카라2깡port argues that globalization is not 바카라2깡t바카라2깡ating but is being 바카라2깡structu바카라2깡d around economic powerhouses and key 바카라2깡gions, as economic interconnections a바카라2깡 being 바카라2깡organized. Furthermo바카라2깡, it st바카라2깡sses the need for new policy and 바카라2깡gulatory frameworks to adapt to the changes brought by the digital 바카라2깡volution and climate change, which a바카라2깡 transforming production, trade, and investment practices.
In his opening 바카라2깡marks, KDI P바카라2깡sident Dongchul Cho emphasized that "the importance of a rules-based multilateral order is mo바카라2깡 critical than ever" and exp바카라2깡ssed hope that the 바카라2깡port would "play a significant role in fostering a mo바카라2깡 inclusive, sustainable, and stable global economy through the collaboration of policymakers, scholars, and the global community."
